It is the angle at which the light shines into the space and is thus sufficiently intense. Classical bulbs had a fixed angle - simply 360°. But modern LED bulbs from TESLA lighting can be manufactured with different beam angles (25°, 38°, 100°, 180°, 220° and 360°).
Some lights are fitted with a cover/diffuser that primarily protects the light source from damage and other external influences. It also helps to diffuse the light that is emitted. If the diffuser is transparent, then it lets the light through in its full colour and intensity. A milky diffuser, on the other hand, attenuates and softens the transmitted light and, because of its colouring, does not transmit direct light.
We should also keep in mind what kind of luminaire we will be purchasing the LED bulb for. Whether or not the bulb is covered. If we have low ceilings, we recommend choosing a source with a large beam angle to illuminate as much space as possible. If we only want to illuminate detail in the interior, we choose a smaller beam angle.
